The Meaning of Life

Young adulthood can be a time where we ask many big questions and make important decisions about our lives. We wonder why we are here, what we are supposed to do with our lives, and what do we want to do before our lives end.

In this four-part study, we will look at how the meaning of life is found in our creation, redemption, vocation, and resurrection. Sessions will include:

Session One: Living as God’s Creatures

Session Two: Redeemed by Christ

Session Three: Serving our Neighbor

Session Four: Born to Live Eternally

This study is designed for college students or young adults.

The topics addressed in each session may lead to greater discussion beyond the provided questions.  Do not be afraid to note other topics and ideas that this study may draw out and explore them further. Be sure to reach out to your pastor, other commissioned workers, or written resources to further explore topics in this study.

This four-part study explores the importance of listening to God by examining Old Testament people who struggled to listen and the resulting impact. Your youth will begin to understand how God communicates with His people, why they should trust His leading, and how they can better follow His direction so that they can endure the ever-changing realities of life. They will also learn how God’s plan of salvation endured despite His people failing to listen, and that there is forgiveness and hope found only in Jesus when we do fail.
