Introduction and Overview

Most teenagers and adults feel stressed, overwhelmed, and pulled in a million different directions. Others struggle from FOMO or feeling like they “can’t say no” when asked to help. In a world where we’re told to just keep going or where we feel like we can’t slow down, we as the Church have tangible and life-changing help to share through God’s Word.

This Bible study breathes life into weary people by teaching the Biblical foundations of self-care as it relates to our Christian stewardship. God has actually created and designed us for rest. What we need to ask now is, “How can we rest well?” By the end of this study, participants will not only have a clear understanding of what rest is, the key factors that prevent rest, and how God’s Word speaks into our need for rest. They will also walk away with a plan in place, rooted in God’s truth, towards a life of endurance that comes when we rest well.
