In this four part study we are reminded that the Bible is not just isolated stories together. It's a book that describes the love of God and His plan of redemption, centered on Jesus Christ.
Kids who grow up in Sunday School are often accustomed to re-visiting the “classic” Bible heroes, which often involves a bit of scattered variety of stories that lend themselves to cute crafts and dramatic puppet shows. This trend works on a short-term basis but our task is to help students see God's big picture in Scripture and how God continues to use it to impact and influence our lives now.

Now more than ever our children need to develop resiliency skills as they face the after-effects of the pandemic as well as the ongoing repercussions of social and political unrest. In Youth Ministry we can help them to identify their feelings and see where God is with them and working in them to develop endurance, hope and resiliency.
Our job as youth ministry leaders is to help translate God’s eternal living Word to the constantly changing cultures and people around us. In order to do this well and to stay rooted in God's Word, we have to lifelong learners who encourage our youth to do the same.
