Matthew 28
God calls each of us to play a role in His mission. Using Acts 1:8 this study will outline the mission of the Holy Spirit to bring Jesus to Jerusalem (our everyday life), Judea and Samaria (our community around us), and the ends of the earth (globally) through each of us. This study is designed to help highlight the section of the 40 End Goals of Youth Ministry about “Acts of Service and Mission.”
The goal of this study is to talk about the resurrection of Christ and the wonderful joy that can be found in that. Eric Dunn uses Matthew to walk through the events that led up to Sunday, so we will also be looking at the events that led up to Jesus’ crucifixion. With that we can frame Easter for our teens in a way which reminds them of the power of Jesus' death and resurrection.
Of all the things we do together as a church, why do we Baptize? In this devotion we consider how Baptism is an invitation and a gift Jesus gave us.
