Humble Confidence
Life will always involve suffering and we may not know all the pages of our life. But God has conquered all, and (spoiler alert) God's promises are always true.
We may feel like Tigger in that we are the only one. But for us, as we’ve been called into a new family through the blood of Christ, we don't ever have to walk alone.
Having hard conversations is never easy, but it’s worth the effort. Especially in today's culture it can be hard to engage well in difficult conversations in youth ministry. Here are six suggestions to help you to start talking about more difficult issues in your youth ministry.
When we want to ask why, we can look to the cross. We can know that God has not abandoned you and never will.
Have you ever had a question that you weren’t sure you were allowed to ask? God can handle your questions and He wants you to cry out to Him to find truth, peace and comfort.
As we go through life, we all come face to face with trials, questions, and tough issues. In the midst of these questions, what do we do? Who or what do we turn to? The purpose of this study is to remind the participants that God does not leave them empty-handed with their questions. He offers us more than just the answers that we are looking for. God gives us what we truly need: namely, Himself.
Humble Confidence isn't meant for you alone. Like water spilling out of a colander, the humble confidence that we have in Christ Jesus should spill out of us. This is the final devotion tied to the "Grounded in Christ" study.
Maybe you have memories of choosing teams at recess or PE. This devotion reminds us that Jesus chooses you and you are on his team. This devotion is the third tied to the study "Grounded in Christ".
