There are plenty of warning signs within Scripture that still speak to us today because sin still entangles us. We still need our Savior’s grace and mercy to recognize our sin, repent of it, and turn away from it as a forgiven child of God. We’re reminded that our hope rests with Christ alone.

One of the ways we can hear God’s voice a little clearer in the middle of all the pressures of each day is when we find moments to rest, to be still.
The goal of this study is to talk about the resurrection of Christ and the wonderful joy that can be found in that. Eric Dunn uses Matthew to walk through the events that led up to Sunday, so we will also be looking at the events that led up to Jesus’ crucifixion. With that we can frame Easter for our teens in a way which reminds them of the power of Jesus' death and resurrection.
In this last verse of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” (along with the passage from Isaiah 60) expands our vision to see the work God has done for us is just a part of the even bigger work He has done and is still doing in the world.
