This curriculum was used in 2020 during our YouthLead retreat. It focuses on helping youth understand their Baptismal identity and how it impacts their everyday faith. In our Baptism, we receive God's promises and God's work is on display. As Baptized children of God, the Holy Spirit strengthens us for all we will experience in life, especially as we are called to be different in this world.
In a culture where generations are often separated by miscommunication and distrust, this training gives teens the tools to initiate intergenerational relationship building.
I can tell myself that I’m volunteering because I want to help people or that I want to follow God’s calling in my life, but the honest truth is that I’m volunteering because I feel stuck, and I need something different. I need more fulfillment.
