Anxiety is prevalent in our world today and can often feel disruptive to lives, plans, and relationships. But what is anxiety, really? Why does it seem to be showing up more and more in and around us? How do we help our youth wrestle with the weights of a world that does have very real challenges without being overcome with anxiety?
In these four session study, we will work through a theological and spiritual perspective of anxiety, fear, and worry. It will help youth gather tools for our mental health toolbox for the anxiety, worry and fear in all of us.
The rise, and shocking normalcy, of school violence in our lifetimes brings about difficult questions. This conversation guide on school violence helps us to point teens to the Gospel, an important task since the majority of teens report that school stress is a significant source of stress.
There is a lot to fear in our lives, but it is important to remember God’s omnipotence in times of fear.
Gen Z can be afraid of a frightening and uncertain world, and afraid of their futures. They’re inordinately worried about school, careers, relationships, and mistakes. Join us in praying for young people and their fear.
Loss is not always connected to tangible things. Sometimes it encompasses the disappointment of missing out on a long-awaited event or opportunity. This Bible study will help you gently guide them through this grieving process and offer consolation, hope, and appropriate Scripture.
We will have times we are anxious, times we are afraid, times we covet, times we feel ungrateful and times we feel left out. God brings grace into our lives for those times and that grace just brings more joy. We will never miss out on God’s grace, and that’s the most joyous place to be.
