Encouragement for those Needing Strength and Perseverance in Ministry
My Beloved Child,
Take a deep breath and speak this truth out loud: God is with me. Whatever is overwhelming you right now is no match for Me. Seek Me and My strength continually; I will provide (Psalm 105:4). I created you and formed you and have redeemed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. I will be with you in the tough times when everything threatens to overwhelm or consume; even then, especially then, I am your God. You are precious in My eyes and honored. I LOVE YOU! (Isaiah 43:1-4)
Fix your thoughts on what is true and good right now and let Me use that to wrap you in peace (Philippians 4:8-9). Dwelling on the struggle will just make you feel more defeated and discouraged. Instead, focus on what is true: that I love you, I am always with you and My strength is enough. With Me, you can easily leap over walls that seemed insurmountable on your own (2 Samuel 22; Psalm 18). Ministry is HARD work, but it is not your own strength that you have to use; use MY energy (Colossians 1:28-29).
I am the God who daily bears your burdens; let me carry them (Psalm 68:19). Even youth grow tired and weary (though I know that’s hard for you to imagine), and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in Me will have their strength renewed! Hope in me. Let me help you soar on wings like eagles, and run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31). Do not fear, I am with you; do not be dismayed, I am your God. I will strengthen and help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Always,
The Strong One
