Waiting

In this first devotion in the series, we are reminded the Lord is faithful to us in our times of waiting.

In this four part study, we look at Old Testament stories where God showed His faithfulness, even in ways it wasn't expected. Through this series we can see how God has proven His faithfulness in the past so that we can trust He will be faithful to us today.

This play is designed to be a part of helping teens to think about the season of Advent as we wait for Christmas. It's a great conversation starter along with reading Isaiah 9:6-7 about this season of the church year. It’s also designed to be easily done over Zoom.

Waiting on God’s timing is hard. Sometimes, we even wonder if He’ll answer our prayers at all. Yet Psalm 25 tells us that those who wait on the Lord are never put to shame.

During the season of Epiphany, the one Isaiah was waiting for is revealed as the one who has come, and His name is Jesus.
