Loneliness

In this devotion tied to the first of our Community Bible Study series, we are reminded God made us to be in community, not on our own. Without others, we miss out on something critical. Yet, throughout Scripture we see how God’s gives us the gift of relationship between believers.
There are times in life in which we feel as if God has forgotten us and that he’s just not there. In the first of four devotions in this series, Ben Meyer talks about how we approach the difficult feeling of abandonment as Christians.
In this skit, we highlight how disconnection and loneliness can seem like a constant companion during difficult times like these. Yet, God’s Word brings us hope and reminds us that we are never alone. God is with us and ties us together through the Gospel.
For those who will work with Gen Z for many years it’s crucial that we consider the ways this pandemic might affect a generation, and what we can do to continue to work with and reach them right now.
We will have times we are anxious, times we are afraid, times we covet, times we feel ungrateful and times we feel left out. God brings grace into our lives for those times and that grace just brings more joy. We will never miss out on God’s grace, and that’s the most joyous place to be.
A lot of us can feel like we're alone in our jobs, but we have a God who never leaves us.
There are times that we feel forsaken. This Bible study will help us find ways of dealing with it.
