Priscilla and Aquila model for us what it looks like to answer God’s call in various ways. Their story gives us an example of hospitality and showing love in any circumstances.
It is often said that you never know how you’re going to respond in a tragedy until it hits. But we, as Christians who care for young people, can be thinking through how to respond before there is a tragedy that hits your church’s community.
Healthy youth ministry should strike a balance between developmentally appropriate activities, time to build relationships, and study of God’s Word, prayer, and other spiritual practices. This article considers some of the important balances a healthy youth ministry needs to strike when it comes to play!
We will have times we are anxious, times we are afraid, times we covet, times we feel ungrateful and times we feel left out. God brings grace into our lives for those times and that grace just brings more joy. We will never miss out on God’s grace, and that’s the most joyous place to be.
