Our doctrine of Original Sin might be something difficult or hard to explain. But understanding our broken human nature can help us understand the brokenness in this world. This article can help both all kinds of youth leaders better understand and explain it to youth.

Our youth are more and more seeing the cultural trend of “cancelling” someone because of actions now or in the past. As people in youth ministry, we must think long and hard about how we encourage both justice and live as people of grace through Jesus.

Understanding and applying Law and Gospel is a hard balance! While both are completely necessary; we can’t have one without the other. This skit and devotion are designed to help you teach about Law and Gospel in a funny and relatable way.

In each of this five-part Bible study series on play, participants will grow in God’s Word around the topic of play and gain a foundation for how God views play. Participants and leaders will also identify the essence of play and develop a stronger sense of their own unique needs and experiences associated with play and connecting with God through play.

Psalm 95 invites us into God’s presence with such joy every time we worship, every time we pray. He is our forgiving Father and He rejoices at our presence.

The psalm says the wicked will be blown away like chaff in the wind, but the one rooted in Jesus will remain sure. Through the waters of Baptism, we are firmly planted in the tree of Christ—the cross.
