Jesus didn’t just call his disciples to the hard work before them of ministry. He also called them into rest, into meals, into His Kingdom. In both Jesus calls us to Him to find Salvation.
This study is intended to take the participants through the Gospel of Mark considering the issues of how we are to read Mark, its message, and the implications that Mark has for our lives. This is a ten session study that is designed for young adults/campus ministries.
Since March of 2020, COVID has drastically changed how Christians around the world see things. We can trust that through faith, God gives us the character and flexibility to not only face change but to allow it produce strength and hope that does not break. It can be tempting to start to think that the gospel just isn’t quite enough and we need something more…something different. In this devotion we see, just like the Colossians did, that we don't need more than Jesus and His gospel.
In integrity, we present our sin before God knowing that, “when we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins” (1 John 1:9). In confession, God is gracious to us and redeems us. In forgiveness, we can continue to walk with God in integrity.
Sometimes there’s just nothing like a good clean…but do we ever think of cleaning up our lives?
Jesus, the light of the world, took away the darkness of our sin through His death and resurrection. By His forgiveness, we are able to walk and reflect His light.
