This four-part study explores the importance of listening to God by examining Old Testament people who struggled to listen and the resulting impact. Your youth will begin to understand how God communicates with His people, why they should trust His leading, and how they can better follow His direction so that they can endure the ever-changing realities of life. They will also learn how God’s plan of salvation endured despite His people failing to listen, and that there is forgiveness and hope found only in Jesus when we do fail.
In this four part study, we look at Old Testament stories where God showed His faithfulness, even in ways it wasn't expected. Through this series we can see how God has proven His faithfulness in the past so that we can trust He will be faithful to us today.
In this four part study we are reminded that the Bible is not just isolated stories together. It's a book that describes the love of God and His plan of redemption, centered on Jesus Christ.
Service is central to the story of Scripture. Each of these devotions and Bible studies seeks to demonstrate this truth while focusing on an element of story and an aspect of service. Each devotion and Bible study are designed to be paired together.
We want youth to grow in the understanding and living out of their vocation. In this study, youth will think about the roles, responsibilities, and relationships God has called us to through the lens of four Biblical characters. These allow us to see the unique vocations where God has used people in the past and where He will use us in the future.
