Singing “Amazing Grace” with thousands of other Christians in a stadium. Listening to a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night” on Christmas Eve. Triumphantly proclaiming “Jesus Christ is Risen Today” on Easter morning. All of these likely bring to mind wonderful memories of praise experiences and paint beautiful pictures of worship in our minds.

Oftentimes, we associate “praise” with worship services and singing hymns and other songs to our Lord. Even church workers tend to confine “praise” to Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. As “praise” is our response to God’s love for us, how we bring glory and honor to the Creator of the universe, should we really only limit ourselves to participating in it a few times a week?

As Christians, we have the opportunity and privilege to live our lives filled with praise! In everything we do, say, and think we can bring praise and glory to our Lord because of what he has done through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus. Sure, we will fail in this at times and not feel like living this lifestyle…especially during difficult times in our lives. PRAISE be to God however that He and his love are bigger than that!

“Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.” (Psalm 146:1-3)

Lord, thank you for the opportunity you give us to praise and worship you. May our lives be a testimony to you always and help in leading others to come to the knowledge of you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
